My Recommended Property Management Certification

As we all know, a certified property management title from IREM is the most desired property management certification in the U.S. and Canada. However becoming a Certified Property Manger CPM is easier said than done.

Despite having 6 years of property management experience under my belt, I still failed to qualify when applying for CPM certification due to my portfolio size.

IREM recommended that I apply for their Accredited Residential Manager ARM certification instead. If you are a residential property manager, ARM is a much quicker and easier way to earn your property management certification from the well recognized IREM.

I only had to study 4 courses, complete the IREM ethnics class and pass the certification exams to earn my ARM badge. If you plan to gun for a CPM title in the future, you will be glad to know that some of the required CPM courses are already covered in your earlier ARM lessons.
